Small Business Week St. Louis

Did you know that America’s 26.8 million small businesses—

Who may submit nominations for these awards?

Any individual or organization dedicated to the support of the small business community in the United States, including, but not limited to, trade and professional associations and business organizations, may submit nominations for these Small Business Week Awards.  Individuals may not be nominated for more than one award category.

Key Deadlines

November 14, 2008 National Small Business Week 2009 nominations must be received by SBA district offices.
December 12, 2008 SBA district winners will be selected from multi-district states; state winners will be selected from single-district states.
January 23, 2009 A panel of judges will select state winners in multi-district states.
March 9, 2009 State Small Business Persons of the Year will be announced.

Welcome from the Small Business Week Committee. We are a group of small business owners, service providers, government entities, banks and other small business lending institutions, retired executives, academia and representatives of the Small Business Administration. What do we have in common? The belief that in Eastern Missouri we have the tools, the drive, and the support of the community to continue building profitable small businesses which benefit our local economy.

We come together one week each year to honor local entrepreneurs, to learn, and to network in various events throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan region. We encourage you to sign up today.
